Ravens Rest Retreat Pet Policy

At Ravens Rest Retreat, we understand the importance of including your furry companions in your travel plans. To ensure a comfortable and enjoyable stay for all guests, we have established the following pet policy:

1. Maximum Number of Dogs:

  • A maximum of two (2) dogs are allowed per accommodation.

2. Pet Fee:

  • There is a fee of $25 per stay

3. Crating Requirement:

  • For the safety and well-being of our guests and their pets, dogs must be crated if left unattended by the owner in the accommodation. 

4. Behaviour and Etiquette:

  • Pet owners are responsible for their dogs' behavior at all times. 

  • Dogs must be well-behaved and under your control if off leash around your cabin and on trails.

  • Dogs must be on leash and under your control while around any of our farm animals and fenced areas. We reserve the right to request the removal of your dog from the farm area should they be deemed to be agitating our animals. At no time are dogs allowed within the fenced areas. 

  • Be aware that our property is visited from time to time by wildlike like foxes and coyotes, please ensure your animal’s safety at all times.

5. Clean-Up Responsibility:

  • Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs at all times. Please place used waste bags in the bin provided outside your cabin. Please do not place used waste bags in the main garbage bins.

7. Notification Requirement:

  • Guests are required to inform us at time of booking if they are traveling with pets.

8. Liability:

  • Ravens Rest Retreat reserves the right to charge the guest's credit card used for their reservation, for any additional cleaning or repair costs incurred due to damage caused by their pets.

9. Vaccinations and Health:

  • All dogs must be up-to-date on vaccinations and in good health. Documentation may be requested upon check-in.

10. Management Discretion:

  • Management reserves the right to deny accommodation to any pet at their discretion.
